A Day in Paris 6th Arrondissement – Saint-Germain-des-Prés

When I stroll through Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris 6th arrondissement, I feel elegance and refinement everywhere. The rich sense of history and culture fills the entire neighborhood.

I visited Paris in April.

Garden in Abbaye de Saint-Germain-des-Prés/ Place Saint-Germain des Prés

One morning, after having breakfast, I came to Place Saint-Germain des Prés and the old church beside the square, Abbaye de Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

April is the flower season in Paris, and the garden beside the church is planted with a variety of well-matched plants. Paris is truly remarkable when it comes to arranging its gardens. Its elegant old buildings and the arrangement of the flowers create a picture that is both elegant and colorful.

Even in this small garden of less than 200 square meters, you can feel the incomparable atmosphere and the perfect blend of the plants and the traces of history. Looking out from the garden, you see classic French architecture.

You must come here, sit on a bench in the garden, daydream for a while, and have a cup of coffee.

J’ai visité Paris au mois d’avril.

Un matin, après avoir pris le petit-déjeuner, je suis allé sur la Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés, ainsi qu’à la vieille église située à côté de la place, l’Abbaye de Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

Le mois d’avril est la saison des fleurs à Paris, et le jardin à côté de l’église est planté de différentes plantes harmonieusement assorties. En réalité, Paris est vraiment remarquable dans sa façon d’aménager ses jardins. Ses élégants bâtiments anciens et la disposition des fleurs composent un tableau à la fois élégant et coloré.

Même dans ce petit jardin de moins de 200 mètres carrés, on peut ressentir une atmosphère incomparable ainsi que l’harmonie parfaite entre les plantations et les traces de l’histoire. En regardant depuis le jardin, on découvre l’architecture française classique.

Vous devez absolument venir ici, vous asseoir sur un banc dans le jardin, rêvasser un moment et prendre un café.

我在四月的時候拜訪巴黎。

在一個早晨，享用一頓早餐後，我來到了聖日耳曼德佩廣場(Place Saint-Germain des Prés) ，以及廣場旁的古老教堂聖日耳曼德普雷修道院（Abbaye de Saint-Germain-des-Prés）。

四月正是巴黎的花季，教堂旁的花園種植了各種搭得宜的植物。其實，巴黎對於花園的安排真的很厲害。它的優雅老建築以及花園花卉的配置，真的是一種既優雅又繽紛的畫作。

即便是在這個不到兩百平方公尺的小花園裡，你也可以感受到無以比擬氛圍，植栽及歷史軌跡的完美融合。從花園望出去，就是經典的法式建築。

你一定要來這裡，坐在花園裡的長椅上發發呆，喝個咖啡。

Louis Vuitton / Les Deux Magots 

I had a wonderful breakfast at Les Deux Magots. I woke up early that morning and took a bus at a leisurely pace to Saint-Germain-des-Prés to enjoy breakfast. There were already many people lining up to get into the restaurant for breakfast. The breakfast was truly delicious. I enjoyed everything, from the omelet set to the coffee. The omelet was one of the best I have ever had. What impressed me the most was the hot chocolate. It was served with a cup of whipped cream that had a rich, creamy milk flavor, which amazed me.

J’ai pris un merveilleux petit-déjeuner aux Deux Magots. Ce matin-là, je me suis levé tôt et j’ai pris le bus tranquillement jusqu’à Saint-Germain-des-Prés pour y prendre mon petit-déjeuner. Dès le matin, de nombreuses personnes faisaient déjà la queue pour entrer dans le restaurant. Le petit-déjeuner était vraiment délicieux. J’ai apprécié aussi bien la formule avec l’omelette que le café. L’omelette fait partie des meilleures que j’aie jamais mangées. Ce qui m’a le plus impressionné, c’est le chocolat chaud. Il était accompagné d’une tasse de crème fouettée au riche goût de lait, ce qui m’a vraiment émerveillé.

我在雙叟有一個美好的早餐。那天一早起床，以悠閒的步調搭著公車到聖日耳曼德佩享受早餐。在這裡，一早就有許多人排著隊想要進入餐廳吃早餐。早餐真的非常好吃。從歐姆蛋套餐到咖啡，我都非常的欣賞。歐姆蛋是我吃過前幾名的好吃。最讓我感到驚豔的是熱巧克力，加上一杯充滿濃濃奶香、打發的鮮奶油，讓我大為驚豔
